Adaptor (SPA) permits a rifle's
action to rotate relative to the butt-plate/stock to
incorporate usage of
multiple mounted sights or scopes achieving Multiple Aiming SolutionsTM. One of MANY sighting scenarios possible using the
SPA. Traditional 3x9 rifle scope mounted atop the flat top receiver, a redundant
2x7 intermediate eye relief scope mounted to the handguard rail.
This particular scenario represents a redundant or dual-purpose long
distance configuration.
Why the Stock Pivot Adapter?
The SPA is to the rifle what the transmission is to the car. You
wouldn't drive a car with only one speed or direction, why would you
LIMIT your rifle to one zero? The SPA lets you turn your conventional rifle into a versatile multi-mission
rifle. ONLY the
SPA enables you to instantly access multiple sights while
On-Target On-the-Stock (OTOS). OTOS means you're in a
precision, cheek-weld shooting position fixed on the target.
Multiple sight rifles offer redundancy in cases of damage to the primary
sight, multiple zero combinations, daylight/night sight combinations,
and side sight acquisition to aid firing with a gas mask. Instantly access a different sight simply by rotating the action/sight
into an indexed position without ever leaving the stock or precision
shooting position. Additionally
when the action is rotated 45 or 90 degrees the pistol grip and hi-capacity
magazines protrude to the side and not straight down, aiding lower/narrower
defensive operational positions such as beneath vehicles, match obstacles,
or other horizontal working envelopes. Terrorists and Bad guys don't wait for you
to come off the gun, swap sights with the quick-change mounts or change
your zero, then reacquire
them in your sight picture. BE PREPARED with multiple zeros!
Needs for the Multi-Mission Rifle
1) SWAT, Secret Service, Special Forces types need the ability to
INSTANTLY engage two completely different ballistic sighting
applications. Taking a steep down angle shot from a roof
top/helicopter, or instantly engage a target on a level plane in/on the
building across the street. Range tables are good, but they invite
human error and slow reaction time for split second shots.
2) In the public safety arena an INSTANT redundant
solution is needed as a backup for cases of damage or loss
of zero to the
primary sight. A follow up shot to recover from a lost zero shot can be instantaneous, OTOS.

Public and National Defenders need the ability to INSTANTLY
engage close range or long distance targets without
making holdover/under guesses or trying to memorize range tables.
Multiple sights is the answer.

Public and National Defenders need the ability to INSTANTLY
engage from narrow or prone defensive positions under cover. When the action is rotated 45 or 90

Many tactical operations are performed in twilight hours. Public and
National Defenders need the ability to INSTANTLY select
engagement with night vision/thermal or daylight optics depending on
changing light conditions. SPA lets you choose the right sight, RIGHT NOW, OTOS!
6) Sight acquisition while using a gas mask. Only the SPA
lets you orient the sights to the side while keeping the butt-stock in
the vertical position. This helps the shooter maintain a
conventional shoulder pocket hold of the stock. Regardless if you
use the model MCU 2AP, the M17, or any other mask, every agency using
gas masks should be training with and using the SPA to improve the
precision of their gas mask shooting operations. Let's face it,
life defending shots should not have to be made awkwardly holding the
rifle and butt-stock catawampus across
your shoulder/arm. You are training for, or engaging in
critical contingencies, USE THE EQUIPMENT SUITED FOR THE JOB!
Standard Configurable Positions of the SPA1
The SPA1 may be installed to one of three available
configurations. While the butt-stock is in the upright (vertical) position the receiver
and pistol grip may be rotated from the standard position to either:
Counter Clockwise 45 and 90 degrees (right hand configuration),
or Counter Clockwise 45 and Clockwise 45 (neutral configuration),
or Clockwise 45 and 90 degrees (left hand configuration).

Redundant Sites (narrow working envelope or backup for broken primary
sight)
Long Distance - Short Range Scope/Sight combinations (scope - red dot)
Iron Sight - Optical Sight combinations
